The Princess is Here!

Our beautiful princess has arrived.  She is perfect.  Madison was born January 25th at 7:54 AM by scheduled c-section.  She was a perfect 7 lbs 2 oz, and 20 1/2 inches long.  When we left the hospital she weighed 6 lbs 10 1/2 oz.  At her first pediatrician appointment she had gained 4 1/2 oz. 
She is a beautiful, perfect little baby.  Cries when she is hungry or gassy.  She is sleeping in her swing right now.  Daddy and I are just settling into family life right now. 
I am breastfeeding (that is for another blog post though!), and she is sleeping 3 hour stretches at night.  We are looking forward to watching her grow and become a wonderful person. 
The c-section went OK, although I did get sick on the table.  Not fun.  I am healing well, the staples are out making it 100% easier to get in and out of bed.  I am still sore, but getting better everyday. 
We are so happy and can't believe that she is ours!
