7 days!

Exactly one week from today we will be welcoming our gorgeous baby girl into the world.  Daddy and I are ecstatic!  We have everything ready, and thanks to my super generous co-workers at my old office we now have the stroller!  DH and I put it together as soon as it came in yesterday and let me tell you, nicest stroller out there!  It's a Chicco Cortina in the cubes print.  Very gender neutral, super light (for a full sized stroller) and plenty tall enough for my 6'3" husband to push around comfortably!  We put it on the registry after trying out every stroller in the store (from the $20 umbrella stroller to the $400 Maclaren strollers).  It was pricey, but it was tall and easy to push for DH.  I was shocked when I found out that they all pitched in at my old office and bought us the stroller, so generous of them.  DH and I are going to take them a tray of something tasty on Friday to say Thank You!
This is my last week of work, and it is dragging!  I left early yesterday, am working a full day today, half day tomorrow, full day Thursday and undecided on Friday.  DH has an appointment up north that he would like me to go to.  I'm not sure if I'm up to the 2 hour ride or not.  I'll have to see how I'm feeling.  The c-section is scheduled for Tuesday.  I am so looking forward to being a Mom!
We picked up and ordered the last of the baby items we needed.  I ordered my Moby wrap and the diaper pail liners we need to start cloth diapering.  They should be here by Saturday.  We have the car seat that will be installed tonight as long as the rain holds off for a little while.  The pack n play is up and ready, along with the swing in the living room.  The in-laws came by this weekend to see baby girls room.  It is a very pretty room.  I'll post pictures as soon as I find the cord that goes from my camera to the computer!  I am missing that and the charger for the camcorder.  I'm sure they will turn up this week.
DH and I have spent the last 2-3 weeks deep cleaning the house.  I was on my hands and knees scrubbing the bathroom baseboards and floor downstairs.  I feel like I need to do it again!  This weekend we just need to vacuum, dust and clean the bathrooms again.  Even when they are freshly cleaned I feel like the bathroom is dirty.  As soon as I clean the shower it has soap scum on the doors.  Such a PITA!
I have been having contractions on and off the last couple of days.  Some with pain, some not.  I'm going to ask the OB tomorrow.  We go in for our last ultrasound and appointment tomorrow afternoon.  I am looking forward to seeing baby girl again and seeing how much she is weighing.  I'm anticipating she'll be around 8 lbs at birth.  She's going to be perfect!
