19 Days! I can't believe it. I'm still in denial I think. I haven't packed a bag yet. The car seat is still in the box in the front hallway waiting to be installed. The house needs to be cleaned. And I'm not motivated in the least to get it done!
I think my Dad and stepmom are coming to visit this weekend, and I also think the IL's are going to come down to check out baby girls room. We finally got it finished, including cleaning out her closet. We put her name on the wall and have basically everything ready for her to come home to. We just need a clean house!
I'm hoping both visits go well, but chances of that are slim. We can only hope to avoid a collision of epic proportions.
Our weekly appointment went OK yesterday, baby girl is doing so well. She got an 8/8 again on her bpp. They are estimating her weight to be 6 lbs 7 oz at 36 weeks. This makes her right on track for 8 pounds at birth. She is going to be perfect! My blood pressure was slightly elevated again, so I went in this morning for more bloodwork. Hopefully everything comes back OK.
I check my blood pressure at home and it is fine, but for some reason at their office the last 3 weeks it's been high. Could be my annoyance at waiting in a hot stuffy room for hours, or the rude nurses, or the too small arm cuff they use on me. Makes you wonder, huh?
Next week I am taking my machine in with me to show the doctor that it is fine at home. 19 more days!
I hope everyone is having a wonderful start to their New Year. I am so grateful for everything that my husband and I have been blessed with and I can only hope and pray that this year will be better!
