Where has the time gone? 6 months. It is amazing how much baby girl has grown and how active and wonderful she is. She officially weighs 16 pounds even and is 26 inches long. I still call her my tiny princess girl, but she isn't tiny anymore! She is wearing 9 month jammies to bed and is just barely fitting into her 6 month summer clothes! I'm glad her closet has some 12 month stuff in there. She is growing so fast.
She is still nursing well, we are introducing solids slowly. She has had prunes and bananas so far. She seems to really enjoy eating, but I don't want it to interfer with her nursing. She has tried banana puffs and a mum-mum. She makes these awful faces like it is the worst thing in the world! It is such a crack up. We're thinking about sending it into America's Funniest Home Videos, it would so win!
Other than that, it is life as usual! We wake up between 5 and 5:30 during the week, meds for M (solu-tab for reflux), nurse, get ready for the day. I leave for work at 7 AM. I leave work at 4 PM, get home at 4:30, feed baby girl, try some solids, make dinner, clean up, tubby time, feed baby girl, meds for M (solu-tab), eat again and sleepy time. I try to have her in bed between 8-9 PM, but somedays it is earlier, others it's later!
I love rocking her to sleep every night. I know some people say that it leads to bad sleeping habits, but I don't see her all day! I miss her so much when I am at work, it hurts my heart to think about it. So I am going to rock her as much as I want! She is still my little princess girl!
